3/29/19 — BILLBOARDS FOR LIFE

Please pray and send this out to any persons you might know.    The ideal person is energetic, tech savvy, and a good communicator, but also has some ability to handle details.    This is a paid position, and a fantastic opportunity for someone to get involved in a life-saving mission, BILLBOARDS FOR LIFE.

Many thanks,

JMJ

Billboards for Life job description

  1.  Billboard campaign overseer
  2. 3-4 times a year we will post a Billboard campaign in the city.  You would gather creative ideas and run these past the focus groups, meet with coordinating agencies such as Little Way and Sister for Life to see how we can best use images, etc.  We would help in these meetings.
  3. Coordinate the details of the campaign.  This would include working with the Billboard company called Outfront as well as sending images to the printer.  We would guide you through this until you are comfortable.
  4. Gather any feedback from Little Way and determine results of the Billboards campaign

  1. Help with mailings 3-4 times a year
  2.  This would include helping with the mailing of the letter we send 3-4 times a year.
  3.  Coordinate getting the letter to the printer and other details
  4. Open and sort the return checks we receive.  Logging the income from these letters and depositing them in the appropriate accounts.
  5. Sending a form thank you to the donors.
  6. Young adult organizer
  7. Recruit and select young adults to be a part of the ministry
  8. This would include reaching out to Focus students and other already interested young adults and organizing events to build up the collection teams, etc.
  9. Overseeing this group to speak at parishes.  This would include scheduling the young adults and following up with them after the talks.
  10. Talk organizer in parishes
  11.  Call parishes to schedule Billboards talks.  We would provide the list of parishes that have allowed us to come in the past (currently John Defriend is doing this, and he will as long as he is able — he would like to stop at some point but doesn’t mind doing it)
  12. Make sure we have a speaker to cover the Masses.
  13. Coordinate the speaker getting collection money back to us and getting the supplies they need.
  14. Sending thank-you’s to the Pastor of the parishes.
  15. Billboard campaign overseer
  16. 3-4 times a year we will post a Billboard campaign in the city.  You would gather creative ideas and run these past the focus groups, meet with coordinating agencies such as Little Way and Sister for Life to see how we can best use images, etc.  We would help in these meetings.
  17. Coordinate the details of the campaign.  This would include working with the Billboard company called Outfront as well as sending images to the printer.  We would guide you through this until you are comfortable.
  18. Gather any feedback from Little Way and determine results of the Billboards campaign
  19.  Jumpstart a donor building process using strong faith-filled athletes like Faith Oakley, Kelsey Worrell, Asia Durr, and others.    This “event” division (in conjunction with the WISH Event) could really help spread the breadth of the donor base.

There are other exciting ideas we have that involve working with other prolife leaders, students, etc. but the above are the most important items.  We are hoping to find a strong Catholic who possess a charitable and service oriented spirit willing to help save lives and souls.  This individual should be willing to learn new tasks under direction but should be able to work from home and can be independent at times.   We have a private office where work can be conducted as well.
