Our alumni family gave a total of over $400,000 to support our alma mater by the close of Christendom’s 2018-2019 fiscal year on June 30. The majority of support came from alumni gifts on Giving Day, but also included many other alumni gifts to the college as well.
With all gifts counted, our current U.S. News alumni giving rate is now 40%. (click HERE to view or download a PDF file).
The U.S. News rate is tallied based on the giving of graduates for whom the college has valid addresses. The giving rate for the previous fiscal year was 39%, so we can officially celebrate growing alumni participation as we look ahead to the future.
The alumni giving rate is an important metric for colleges because it indicates to foundations and other donors that the people experiencing the direct fruits of the institution believe that it has made a difference in their lives. Alumni giving encourages support from others by indicating that Christendom is a worthy investment.
Thank you to all alumni contributing to the mission of our alma mater!
