HSLDA’s Technology department has experienced significant and exciting growth, and we need an IT professional to provide programming and troubleshooting support for multiple systems and development efforts. What You Will Do

  • Manage relational (SQL) and object-oriented (Salesforce) database servers, including routine maintenance, backup/restoration, and optimization.
  • Develop utilities, APIs, web services, and Windows services in C# and .Net. Apex experience preferred.
  • Assist with complex querying, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Assist with the support, upgrades, and maintenance of database systems, backup, and recovery.
  • Work effectively as part of a Scrum team in two-week sprints using MS DevOps with a Git repository and a collaborative SDLC for agile development of quality, MVP deliverables.
  • Work closely within HSLDA standards, practices, and software stacks.
  • Increase your technical acumen, staying up-to-date, and share technical innovations.
  • Occasionally provide support outside of standard business hours.

What You Will Bring

  • At least 7 years of development and database experience; IT or CS degree preferred.
  • Experience and technical competence with C#, .NET, MS SQL, SSIS ETL, and complex T-SQL; Apex and SOQL/SOSL preferred.
  • Experience with large database design, migration, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Self-motivation and the analytical problem-solving skills required to identify and resolve issues.
  • An ability to work well on a team and independently as needed while maintaining a confident yet humble attitude and a willingness to grow.
  • Being a committed Christian who supports HSLDA’s mission.
