**School looking to hire Christendom Alumni**

Seeking an individual interested in administrative work in Catholic Montessori School.  JPGMA is in its third year with a thriving community from 3 years old to 12th grade.

This is an optional part-time or full time, 40 hour/week position depending on the correct individual for this job.  It may also require after school participation in dismissal and limited extra-curricular activities. School events in the evenings and weekend activities are also required as necessary on a limited basis. JPGMA takes its calling of student education and formation very seriously, and expects all staff to be available to fulfill any needs that may arise throughout the school year in their service. 

A successful candidate will possess the following skills/traits:

  • Administrative experience
  • Computer skills including Excel, Word, database work
  • Passionately and faithfully Catholic
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills between all stakeholders
  • Ability to positively interact with parents, students and staff
  • Clean background check and driving record
  • Extreme flexibility and patience
  • A strong love of the child
  • Desire to be a part of a new school with a developing program

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Be physically present Monday through Friday from 8am-3:30pm; answering the phone and communicating messages between environments
  2. Updating the Head of School of any necessary issues or questions at a weekly lunch meeting;
  3. Handling all administrative tasks such as and not limited to: supporting the Guides at all levels with things such as copying/filing/organizing; managing budgets and ensuring financial systems are followed;
  4. Putting together and keeping current such things as Emergency contact binders;
  5. Helping with MRA and other sensitive/confidential things such as special needs/allergy/custody issues, etc.;
  6. Maintaining discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school handbook and covenant written by the students;
  7. Managing other secretarial staff who answer the phone;
  8. Managing the office supplies, coffee bar supplies, and ordering supplies for the various environments of the Academy while making sure orders are placed in a timely manner;
  9. Managing the distribution of flyers for the Academy;
  10. Participating in department, school, district and parent meetings;
  11. Assisting the Head of School to lead and prepare for all Staff Meetings;
  12. Coordinating Open Houses;
  13. Managing School hot lunch programs
  14. Collecting and filing of all necessary school forms
  15. Assisting the Head of School each Spring with distributing Staff contracts and re-enrollment of current students

Job performance reviews will be conducted on a semester basis, and Administrative personnel are expected to meet monthly with the Head of School whom they report to directly.
