Alumni Advisory Council

April 26, 2016announcement.4

Greetings Christendom Alumni!

Christendom College, your alma mater, is approaching her 40th anniversary.  In those four decades the college has seen dedicated and faith-filled men and women work toward the fulfillment of Dr. Warren Carroll’s vision of building a community that seeks to “Restore all things in Christ.”  This has been borne out in her mission, her administration, and her student body.  That spirit of restoration is certainly palpable on our expanding Front Royal campus.  One area of the Christendom experience that has yet to see its full potential, however, is the establishment of a cohort of graduates dedicated to alumni outreach.

Until now …

I am delighted to formally announce the creation of a new Alumni Advisory Council. The Council was established a few short months ago and has already begun to rapidly develop concurrent with one of the most exciting periods of growth in Christendom’s history.  The College is expanding its property, buildings, enrollment, faculty, chaplaincy, student services, and other areas as she “restores all things” in her greatest capacity.  At this historic moment, the Council, closely aligned with the College, is embarking on an ambitious effort to build our alumni community by providing them with the resources and support that they deserve.

With approximately 3,000 alumni around the world, it is an ideal time in Christendom’s history for the establishment of this Council  These volunteer Council members hail from all four decades of Christendom’s existence and have embraced the mission to foster a lifelong community of alumni to support their alma mater, each other, and the Church as they work to “Restore All Things in Christ.”

At present, the Council has a host of projects in the making.  These projects are only the beginning of endless opportunities for the Council to build our alumni community.  Of course we welcome and desire your feedback as these and future projects cannot be sustained without your interest!  The first way to get involved is by filling out the alumni survey if you have not already done so.  It’s easy and your input is essential to the growth of this Council.

The Council is committed to fostering a community of alumni, building programs that promote alumni networking and giving, and responding to the needs of alumni in their present situations.  To learn more about the mission and purpose of this Council, see a listing of current members, and peruse current projects, please use the buttons at the bottom of this page.  We hope you will join us as we seek to restore vitality to our Christendom alumni and renew our commitment to the formation we have received.

On behalf of the entire Alumni Council, we look forward to connecting with all of you this year. Please do not hesitate to contact me or the other Council members directly if you have any questions or would like to be more involved in the Council’s efforts.  We are here to serve you and look forward to connecting with each of you. Let’s make this an historic year of alumni connection and participation!

In Christ,
